National Pro Fastpitch Championship at the Ballpark in Rosemont

This past Friday and Saturday I was at the National Pro Fastpitch Championship at the Park In Rosemont.
This facility is great! The Florida USSSA Pride beat the Akron Racers to enter the Championship best 2 out of 3 Series against the NPF season winner, The Chicago Bandits.  
The Bandits took the first game Friday night 3-2 scoring in the last inning.
Saturday, Florida's USSSA Pride won the opening game 5-0 to send the tournament to a 3rd game, Saturday night.
After a great pitchers duel between the Bandit's and leagues top pitcher, Monica Abbott and the Pride's Keilani Ricketts with help from Cat Osterman's relief help, The USSA Pride from Florida won the 2013 Championship 2-1. 
Great play by both teams who had battled throughout the season 19 times with the Bandits winning 10 and the Pride 9. 
Come on out next year and see the Pro Fastpitch Ladies battle for top honors in 2014.

Journey at Ravinia

Last night I went to see Journey at Ravinia. Great food, Great Music but here's what I saw of the concert.

O well, two out of three ain't bad!

Peter Frampton's Guitar Circus at the RiverEdge in Aurora

Friday night was the Peter Frampton Guitar Circus at Aurora's RiverEdge Park. A great concert and a really nice venue.

Sonny Landreth, a terrific Blues, guitarist opened.

Following Sonny came the Blues legend, B.B. King and his band.

 Peter highlighted the concert with several of his hit songs.

2013 American Idol Tour at the Allstate Arena.

The 2013 American Idol performer's were terrific, the dancing and singing was FAB.
