Robert Randolph & the Family at the North Shore Center For The Performing Arts

Last Friday, Robert Randolph & the Family Band jammed at the North Shore Center For The Performing Arts in Skokie.
Robert the pedal steel guitarist and the Family Band jammed the crowd with music from their Lickety Split CD. A mix between Rock, Funk, & Rhythm & Blues. Members included actual family,Marcus & Lenesha Randolph along with Danyel Morgan and Brett Haas.

Johnny P, a native of NYC and son of a preacher man,opened with several of his new songs including "Drive."

Paul Revere & The Raiders at the Arcada Sunday April13th



Last Sunday it was Paul Revere & The Raiders at the Arcada in St Charles. Paul really brings humor with The Raiders music.
The New Colony Six  opened and were introduced by Onesti Entertainment's Ron Onesti and TV Sportscaster Chet Coppick. The group played several of their hits from yesteryear. Here's some of their photos.

Ha Ha Tonka at the Raue in Crystal Lake last night

Thursday evening, it was "Ha Ha Tonka" at the Raue in Crystal Lake. They are named after the Ha Ha Tonka State park in Missouri.

These dudes sing Indie & Southern Rock. They were really good. They currently have 4 CD's that Rock!

California Dreaming Show at the Arcada



This young group performed several California music from the '60's & '70's including The Beach Boys, The Mamas & The Papas, Jan & Dean, and much more. I loved the music, but the group needed more rehearsing.
