Reba's Benefit Concert

Photo's by Marc Baptiste

The " Queen of Country" Reba McEntire was at her best Saturday Night at the Sear's Centre Benefit Concert held for the "Teachers,Coaches and Students Foundation." The nonprofit foundation was formed by former students of Coach Richard Carlini a retired Maine West HS wrestling coach who suffers from AVM (ArterioVenous Malformation).

Reba heard about their efforts and wanted to help, so she teamed up with her mentor and country music legend, Red Steagall, to raise money for Coach Carlini.

Red opened the show with several of the songs he wrote and told several funny stories about his Texas home. Red has his own myspace at www.myspace.com/redsteagall . It's worth a visit.

Reba, who has recorded 33 #1 hits was FABULOUS !!

Reba thrilled the audience with her great duet hit with Kelly Clarkson, "Because of You". She told about her childhood and dedicated a song to her sisters called "My Sister." A few other hits, "I'm a Survivor" and "The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia" brought standing ovations. Reba has quite a few dance moves that she displayed during her concert too!!

What a NIGHT !! Thanks REBA !!
