Glen Campbell's Farewell Concert at the Rialto in Joliet





Thursday night, Glen Campbell brought his Farewell Tour to the Rialto Square Theater in Joliet. The legend "Country Star" gave a great concert, singing some of his biggest hits including "Galveston", "By The Time I Get To Phoenix", "Rhinestone Cowboy", "Wichita Lineman", "Country Boy", "Southern Nights" and some of the songs from his last studio CD "Ghost On The Canvas" along with "It's Your Amazing Grace" and "A Better Place".

"Instant People" with two of Glen's kids, Cal on drums and guitar, as well as Glen's daughter Ashley on keyboard, banjo and guitar They opened for Glen and also supported him during his set.

Chicago Bluegrass & Blues Fest

Saturday, "The Chicago Bluegrass & Blues Fest" graced the Roosevelt Auditorium Stage, bringing great Bluegrass and Blues performances all day. The fest opened at 2:00 pm with Chasing Shade in the lobby. The first main stage musicians started at 2:45pm with Majors Junction, followed by the Henhouse Prowlers, a local Chicago group who got the fans jumping. They are scheduled to perform at "Fitzgerald's" in March so check them out.
Next up was The Giving Tree Band another great bluegrass group. Joe Purdy followed and he was ok.
David Grisman Quartet, Del McCoury Band,The Big Mom Jam, and closing out the fest was The Bluegrass Ball Jam.

Brad Paisley's "Virtual Reality World Tour 2012


Friday night Brad Paisley brought his 2012 "Virtual Reality Tour" to the Bradley Center in Milwaukee.

Scotty McCreery opened and The Band Perry followed before Brad took the stage.

"Rare Earth" with "Saturday June Band" at Viper Alley

Rare Earth's concert at the Viper Alley in Lincolshire, brought back some of their big hits from the 70's. Their classic rock made popular when the group was signed by Motown as their first all white band.

Viper Alley, located near the Marriott Lincolnshire, is a very intimate setting with table and bar service.

Opening for Rare Earth was Saturday June Band, a local band from Highland Park. This classic rock group were real "rocker's". Here are 4 video's,
