Alison Krauss & The Union Station at the Chicago Theatre

Alison Krauss & The Union Station brought their world famous "Bluegrass" to the Chicago Theatre Friday night (9-9-2011) . The group of : Alison Krauss, vocals, violin, writer, and winner of over 25 Grammy's ;

Jerry Douglas, world-renowned Dobro player ( To me, the BEST), winner of 12 Grammy's, 3 CMA awards, and multiple "Dobro Player Of The Year awards;

Dan Tyminski, vocals, guitar , mandolin, provided the voice for George Clooney in "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?", named "Male Vocalist Of The Year" by the International Bluegrass Music Association four times;


Ron Block, vocals, guitar, banjo, writer of 10 Alison & the boys songs, one of which received the 2006 Gospel Music Association Dove award for Bluegrass Song Of The Year;


Barry Bales, harmony vocals, bass player, winner of 13 Grammy's, one CMA award, one ACM award, 11 IBMA awards.
